How can I reserve a wedding photographer?

A $300 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your wedding date. The remaining balance on your package will be due 21 days prior to your wedding day.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, our business is licensed through the state of Colorado as well as the city of Littleton. We carry three insurance policies for our business. One policy covers our employees, clients and studio. Another policy covers camera and lighting equipment. And our third policy is for wedding malpractice insurance.

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Many photographers book 2-3 weddings in one day. We book one wedding per day! This is your special day and we want to focus on you and your guests. You don't want a photographer who is in a hurry so they can cover the next wedding!

What if I need additional coverage time than originally planned?

The choice is yours! If you decide you need more coverage time, just ask! We offer additional coverage time at $150 an hour.

What if we have to cancel our wedding/contract?

Your $300 deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance is refundable as long as you cancel more than 21 days from your reserved date. If you cancel within 21 days of your wedding day, all payments are non-refundable. If you are forced to reschedule your wedding date and the new date is open, we will honor your original contract.

How will you dress for my wedding?

Our wedding photographers will dress professionally for your wedding. They will wear a black uniform dress shirt with a button-down collar. A brass name plate will be worn. Khaki colored dress pants will be worn with black dress shoes.

How can I pay for services/photographs?

We proudly accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Card. We also accept personal checks made out to: Mountain View Photo, LLC.

What kind of equipment do you use?

We use the best and latest technology. We currently use Canon professional digital SLR cameras (1d Mark III & 5D). Our lenses are state of the art and range from $1,200 to $1,900 each. We also use professional lighting equipment when needed.

What do you do if your camera breaks during my wedding?

We always have at least two professional cameras with us when covering a wedding. Professional cameras cost $3,000 to $8,000 and are more durable than amateur cameras. They are made to perform under the most stressful conditions. Equipment failure is unlikely.

Do you print your own photographs on a photo printer?

We use a professional lab to proces our prints on Kodak Endura paper. Endura paper is engineered to last more than 100 years! We now offer on-location printing for special events that allow guests to go home with photographs. Call us for a quote.

How long before I receive my photographs?

You should be able to access your proofs through our web site within four weeks of your event date. We will email you once your proofs are uploaded. You decide what images you want and then order prints from the comfort of your own home. Once ordered, prints should be available within two weeks.

What happens if you can't make it to my wedding due to sickness or an accident?

Our studio has two wedding photographers available to backup Tim, if needed. Tim has never missed an event due to sickness or for any other reasons.

Do I have to purchase photographs all at one time?

Absolutely not! There are many costs involved in a wedding, not to mention the honeymoon. If you are short on cash and want to purchase additional prints at a later date, you are welcome to do so. Keep in mind that proofs are viewable online for a maximum of 90 days, unless extended. Print prices are subject to change.

Do you offer black & white or sepia toned photographs?

Yes, we offer color, black & white or sepia toned photographs on every image. You will have the ability to view all three formats of the same pose when viewing your event through our online proofing web page.

Do you cover weddings outside of Colorado?

Unfortunately, we only cover weddings within Colorado at this time.

Do you charge travel or lodging fees for wedding coverage?

There are no travel fees when covering a wedding within 20 miles of our studio. We do charge 75 cents per mile after the first 40 miles (based on roundtrip). A lodging fee of $150 may be required should photographers be needed after 10:00pm and your event takes place more than two hours from Littleton, Colorado.
